David Mesho is an accomplished materials engineer with extensive experience in the field of materials science and engineering. At QuantumScape since March 2017, David has progressed from Member of Technical Staff to Principal Member of Technical Staff, successfully completing major process maturation projects that led to significant cost savings and performance enhancements. David's prior roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at NC State University and Visiting Scholar with the Fedkiw Research Group, engaging in research on doped MoS2 for hydrogen evolution reactions. David's foundational experience includes materials engineering at Starfire Systems, and early academic support roles at both Cornell University and LORD Corporation. David holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
