Liam Richardson

Liam Richardson is a Metrology Engineer and Member of the Technical Staff at QuantumScape, with extensive experience in engineering roles across various companies. Previously, Liam served as a Senior Sensor Calibration Engineer at Aeva and held multiple positions at Argo AI, where responsibilities included contributions as a Hardware Engineer in the Lidar Systems Team. Earlier work includes a role as a Field Application Engineer at AEye, Inc., and an R&D Internship at General Monitors by MSA, where Liam modeled gas detector components. Additional internships include optical and mechanical engineering work at SpectraSensors. As a Team Lead for the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Design Competition, Liam successfully led a team to design and simulate a Hyperloop pod. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of San Diego, Liam previously earned a degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
