Malav Kapadia

Malav Kapadia is currently a Senior Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape, focused on advancing battery technology through hardware R&D and automation equipment design. Prior experience includes a role as Mechanical Engineer III at Applied Materials, where Malav managed complex multidisciplinary projects for semiconductor fabrication equipment. Previous positions involved designing custom semi-automated packaging machines at TurboFil Packaging Machines, leading strategic projects for thermal-fluid assemblies at Armstrong Fluid Technology, and conducting research at the University at Buffalo’s Energy Systems Design Laboratory. Malav's background also includes product development at Unifrax LLC, teaching engineering drawing at Arya Vidya Mandir, and business development at Keshav Foam. Malav holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
