Miha Valencic

Miha Valencic is a Senior Metrology Engineer at QuantumScape since April 2022, having previously held positions as a Member of Technical Staff and Associate Member of Technical Staff in Imaging. Prior to QuantumScape, Miha worked as a Renewable Energy Engineer at Sunvapor, Inc., where responsibilities included delivering on decarbonization projects in various sectors, overseeing initial engineering design, and conducting quality assurance checks during construction. Earlier experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at The University of Texas at Arlington, focusing on neural network predictive control for temperature management, and as a Research and Development Intern at Damascus Bakery, where analysis of production data led to a notable increase in product quality. Additionally, Miha contributed to research at the Professor Blake Group at Caltech on charge carrier dynamics of lead halide perovskites. Miha holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Caltech.
