Niall Gallagher

Niall Gallagher is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical test engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at QuantumScape since October 2018, Niall previously worked at Apple from October 2014 to September 2018 as a Lab Manager for Battery Qualification Testing, overseeing the qualification of new battery designs. Prior roles at BlackBerry included Technical Director of Test, Director of Test Strategy and Hardware Development, Manager of Product and Test Engineering, and New Product Introduction Manager, where strategic testing and product development were key responsibilities. Earlier experience as a Principal Staff Engineer at Motorola focused on enhancing manufacturing operational performance, and Niall began a career at Keysight Technologies (formerly Hewlett-Packard) as a Manufacturing Engineer. Niall holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic from University College Dublin, an MBA in Global Operations Strategy from the University of Strathclyde, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management and Technology from The Open University.
