Sinan Kazan is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in energy storage solutions and vehicle technology. Currently serving as Senior Director at QuantumScape since November 2020, Kazan previously held the role of Senior Director at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, where contributions included the development of cloud software platforms for lithium-ion batteries and innovative product development in automotive energy storage. As CTO of Mercedes-Benz Energy Americas, leadership guided strategic direction and product deployment in energy storage markets. Kazan's career also includes pivotal roles at Daimler AG, focusing on quality assurance for lithium-ion batteries and telematics systems, as well as spearheading the development of driving dynamics systems, including pioneering systems in racing applications.
