Tim Biederman

Tim Biederman is a Technical Program Manager at QuantumScape since May 2022, previously serving as an Engineering Program Manager at Panasonic Energy of North America, where contributions included managing vendor relations and cross-functional team collaborations to enhance production efficiency at the Tesla Gigafactory. Tim's extensive experience includes roles such as Director of Engineering at Open Mountain Energy, focusing on geothermal power plants, and Energy Project Manager at Kaishan Group, coordinating the establishment of Hungary's first geothermal power plant. Tim also held positions as an Environmental Engineer for the City of San Jose and as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant for Danfoss Turbocor, among others. Tim holds an MBA and a Master's in Energy Science, Technology, and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
