QuantWare
Arno Bargerbos has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum computing and nanoscience. They started their career as a Research Intern at Microsoft Station Q Santa Barbara in 2017, where they numerically studied the effects of gate-induced electric fields on semiconductor Majorana nanowires. They then pursued a PhD at QuTech, part of the Delft University of Technology, from October 2017 to September 2022, focusing on the areas of quantum computing and nanoscience. Currently, Arno is employed as a Senior Measurement Engineer at QuantWare, starting in September 2022.
Arno Bargerbos has a strong background in physics and a solid education history. Arno completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Delft University of Technology, starting in 2017 and finishing in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Physics from ETH Zürich, studying from 2014 to 2016. Arno started their academic journey at Amsterdam University College, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree with a major in Physics from 2011 to 2014. Before attending university, Arno completed their pre-university secondary education (VWO) at Erasmus College Zoetermeer from 2005 to 2011.
