Remko Slotema

Remko Slotema has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Remko is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at QuantWare since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a self-employed Financial Advisor in the fintech area from June 2018 to the present.

From February 2019 to August 2022, Remko held the position of CFO at Plotwise (previously Calendar42). Before that, they were the CFO at Ohpen from March 2012 to June 2018.

In addition to their CFO roles, Remko has also worked as a Director of Finance at ROBEIN vermogensspecialisten from March 2012 to October 2014. Remko started their career at Deloitte Accountants B.V. in January 2003, where they worked as a Supervisor until December 2005. Remko then joined KPN as an Internal Auditor from January 2006 to December 2007.

Remko also gained valuable experience as a Financial Controller at Ahold Europe from January 2011 to March 2012. Prior to that, they worked at PWC as a Manager of Transaction Services from January 2008 to December 2010.

Remko Slotema obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1994 to 2000. Later, they pursued a degree in Registeraccountant (RA) from the University of Amsterdam, completing their studies from 2004 to 2007. Remko Slotema also holds the certification of Registeraccountant (RA) from the Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA), although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
