Alex Chen

Alex Chen is the President & CEO of QuantWave Technologies. Alex has a strong background in environmental issues and has worked to promote knowledge exchange and technology transfer among Chinese environmental professionals. In their previous role as Investment Director at Shanghai Yuren Investment Co., they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations in Canada. Alex has also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo and as an IST Engineering Service Desk Consultant at the University of Waterloo.

Alex Chen has a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Ecology from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
