Pierre Veber has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. In their current position at Quarkslab as a Research and Development Engineer, they began in September 2020. Prior to that, they were the VP of Software Engineering at Revolugo from July 2019 to September 2020. Pierre also served as the CTO of France Hostels from May 2016 to June 2019, where they built the technical platform and supervised the development of a Property Management System for hostels.
Earlier in their career, Pierre worked at Avanquest as an IoT Cloud Platform Architect and Engineer from June 2014 to May 2016. During their time there, they led the company's transition to the IoT market and developed various IoT solutions. Pierre also worked as a Tech Lead/Architect at Avanquest, where they played a key role in the deployment of mobile services and the implementation of security measures. Pierre started their journey in project management at Avanquest as a Project Manager for Sony Ericsson PC Suite and later became the lead of Sony Ericsson PC Companion from November 2006 to June 2012.
Before their tenure at Avanquest, Pierre worked at NEURONES as an Embedded Mobile Integration Engineer from June 2002 to November 2006. Pierre also founded and served as the Tech Lead of ARKALIS from January 2000 to March 2002. Pierre began their career as a Software Developer at ERIS Automation, where they developed a front-end for a theater rigging system and provided system setup and user training from October 1998 to January 2000.
Pierre Veber began their education in 1992 at CY Cergy Paris Université, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fundamental Physics. Pierre completed their degree in 1995. Later, in 1997, they enrolled at the University of Montpellier, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Software Engineering, completing their studies in 1998.
