Joseph Shaffer

Joseph Shaffer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Quartus Engineering since September 2015, Shaffer has progressed through various engineering roles including Engineering Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer. Prior to Quartus, Joseph worked at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to mechanical designs for radar and laser systems, and providing subsystem leadership. Earlier experience at Lord Corporation included significant contributions to vibration isolation projects for fixed-wing aircraft, with a focus on improving aircraft components for the Boeing 787. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus and Arizona State University, respectively.
