Jonathan Wan

Jonathan Wan has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

At Quartzy, they currently hold the position of VP, Operations and Pricing since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product Management since April 2016. In this role, they were responsible for various teams such as product (growth + revenue), data science, pricing, technical/customer support, and fulfillment operations. Jonathan also led the buildout and managed operations for their first direct fulfillment center, evaluated and implemented ERP and BI platforms, and supported fundraising initiatives and board meetings.

Before joining Quartzy, Jonathan worked at Counsyl. From February 2014 to April 2016, they served as the Director of Technical Product Management. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Sales Operations from February 2013 to February 2014. In these positions, they led teams and supported the expansion of the commercial team, strategic planning, competitive analysis, system design, and implementation.

Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as an Operations Engineer at Counsyl from April 2010 to January 2013, where they contributed to commercial and technical projects across departments. Jonathan was involved in various responsibilities such as internal operations platform management, supply chain management and optimization, implementation of internal platforms, and sales and account management.

Before their professional roles, Jonathan worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2008 to April 2010 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2005 to May 2008.

Jonathan Wan has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jonathan also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a concentration in EES, from Stanford University.
