Scott M. Johnson

Scott M. Johnson is the Vice President of Engineering at Quartzy. Scott has also previously served as the Vice President of Engineering at Datica from May 2020 to October 2020. At Datica, Scott led a 30+ member cross functional and 100% remote Engineering team responsible for developing secure HIPAA and HITRUST compliant PaaS products and standards-based healthcare Integration technologies running on AWS and Azure cloud technologies, and on-premise customer technology environments providing to our customers secure and compliant infrastructure and operations for their cloud based applications and systems to run on. In this role, they were also responsible for our software engineering product delivery teams, cloud operations and 24x7 support teams, and our security operations and infrastructure.

Scott M. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Scott has also completed executive education programs at the CIO Institute at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Mini-MBA program at the University of St. Thomas, the Soul of Leadership program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and the Mergers and Acquisitions program at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Scott is also certified by Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
