Jose Sermeno

Jose Sermeno has a long and varied career in product management and software engineering. Jose began their career in 2003 at Temple University Hospital as a Database Analyst and Application Manager. In 2006, they moved to De Lage Landen Financial Services as a Project Coordinator. In 2008, they joined Zivtech, LLC as a Manager and Project Manager. In 2010, they became the Project Director for San Diego City Robotics. In 2011, they worked at MadCap Software, Inc. as a Product Evangelist and Sales Engineer. In 2016, they joined ParTech, Inc. as a Software Release Manager and Sales Engineer. Finally, in 2020, they began working at Qu POS as the Director of Product Management, Director of Product Operations, and Product Success and Release Manager. Additionally, Jose cofounded and serves as President and Board Member of the San Diego Makers Guild, Inc., a 501c3 Non-Profit.

Jose Sermeno attended City College of San Francisco from 2002-2002, studying Industrial Design. Jose then attended Temple University from 2004-2006, studying Computer Science. Finally, they attended San Diego City College from 2010-2013, studying Futures Studies and Engineering.
