Okan Kara

Okan KARA, PhD, is a co-founder and managing partner at ACT Venture Partners, a venture capital fund manager focused on early-stage deep tech ventures in Europe, with operations in the Netherlands, the UK, and Turkey since 2015. In addition to this leadership role, Okan KARA serves as a board member for various companies, including Qubitrium and Cellbricks since 2024, and has previously held board positions at Ambeent Inc., Picus Security, SenpAI.GG, Skysens, DataRow, Botanalytics, and ARDIC. Okan KARA holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Science and Technology Policy and Innovation Economics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Marmara University, along with graduate research in Innovation Economics from UCL.
