Benjamin Cox

Benjamin Cox is a Mechatronics Engineering student at Queen’s University and serves as the Director of Research and Development for the Queen's Aerospace Design Team, leading a group in producing research for international conferences. Previously, they worked as a Sailing Instructor at Barrie Yacht Club, where they doubled the passing rate and started a youth development team. They also held the position of Head Instructor at Dalhousie Yacht Club, achieving a 65% increase in registration and launching new programs. Additionally, Benjamin contributed as a team member in the Queen's Hyperloop Design Team, focusing on electromagnetic levitation research. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, expected to graduate in 2027.
