Ajay Subramanian

Ajay Subramanian is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the field of radio frequency engineering and quantum processing units. Currently serving as Principal Electrical QPU Engineer at QuEra Computing Inc. since October 2025, Ajay previously held key positions at Liberty Defense from October 2021 to September 2025, including Associate Director of RF Engineering and Principal RF Design Engineer. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Raytheon Missiles & Defense from 2009 to October 2021 included roles as RFIC/MMIC Design Engineer. Ajay's academic credentials comprise a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University.
