Site Reliability Engineer at QuEra Computing

David Haines has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role was as a Site Reliability Engineer at QuEra Computing Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Altana Technologies from 2023 until mid-2023.

From 2018 to 2023, David worked as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Berkshire Grey. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing on-premise Kubernetes clusters and troubleshooting robotics systems. David also designed and administered networks supporting remote systems and hyperconverged clusters.

David also worked as a Staff Attorney at WilmerHale, managing teams of attorneys and troubleshooting database issues.

David's early career includes roles as a Student Bar Association Class Representative at Boston University, where they administered servers and streamlined processes using shell scripts. David also worked as a Student Technician at the University of Oregon, where they installed, configured, and maintained a VoIP system and integrated it with a legacy PBX.

David Haines obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Oregon, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from the Boston University School of Law between 2003 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, David Haines also obtained a certification in CCNA Routing & Switching from Cisco in June 2014.
