Florian Huber

Florian Huber is a seasoned professional in the field of physics and quantum technology, currently serving as the VP of Systems Architecture and Head of Quantum Controls at QuEra Computing Inc. since December 2020. Huber has a strong background in low-level software, GPU-based waveform synthesis, and quantum controls, previously working as a Laser Scientist at IPG Photonics where innovative analysis techniques for optical materials were developed. Academic contributions include positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Scholar at Harvard University and roles at various research institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics and the Centre for Quantum Technologies. Huber holds a PhD in Physics from Harvard University and a Master's degree from the Technical University of Munich.
