Yelissa Lopez

Yelissa Lopez is a Technical Program Manager at QuEra Computing, where they lead initiatives to promote quantum computing as a national priority and oversee a DARPA-funded program by coordinating efforts across government, academia, and industry. They graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Applied Physics and have previously worked as a Quantum Fellow and Laboratory Assistant, focusing on curriculum development and research in quantum information science. Yelissa founded Upcomers, an agency supporting black and minority-owned brands, and actively engages in workforce development by sharing resources for emerging talent.
