Pavel Kovalenko

Pavel Kovalenko is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in systems design and data processing. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Querify Labs since July 2021, Pavel specializes in developing a proprietary storage engine utilizing technologies such as RocksDB, Arrow, gRPC, folly, coroutines, and io_uring. Prior to this role, Pavel contributed significantly to Yandex.Cloud, focusing on a data platform and managing databases like ClickHouse. At GridGain Systems, major contributions were made to the Apache Ignite database, optimizing various core workflows. Additional roles include software engineering positions at Zalando SE, Grid Dynamics, ATFBank, Tele2 Kazakhstan, and Primesource, with a strong foundation in Java and big data technologies. Pavel holds a Master's degree in IT from the International IT University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from AUPET.
