Sam Kim currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at QueryPie, starting in August 2023. Prior experience includes leading the Search Cloud team at Kakao Enterprise from December 2019 to August 2023 and developing search systems at Kakao Corp from January 2014 to November 2019, focusing on large-scale distributed search systems for images, videos, and news. Additionally, Sam has held IT Project Manager roles at Nexgen Associates and Eugene Data Inc., managing projects across finance, public sectors, and manufacturing, as well as developing electronic document management systems. Sam holds a B.S. in Forestry from Seoul National University and an M.S. in Computer Network from Sangmyung University.
