Bernie Saenz

Bernie Saenz, PMP, CSM has over 10 years of experience in project management and leadership roles. Bernie is currently the Global Director of PMO & Operations at Quest Software, where they oversee project management and operational activities. Prior to this, Bernie was the Director of SW Professional Services at Quest Software.

Before joining Quest Software, Bernie held various positions at organizations such as HairClub, Modernizing Medicine, SATO Global Solutions, Office Depot Global Headquarters, Mission Health Systems, Independent Living Systems, HIMSS South Florida, Broward Health, and PMI South Florida Chapter. These roles included director-level positions in digital experience, project management office, IT program management, healthcare project management consulting, and information technology and service delivery. Bernie also served as the President & CEO of PMI South Florida Chapter in 2009.

Throughout their career, Bernie has demonstrated strong project management skills and a track record of successfully leading and delivering projects. Bernie holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), highlighting their expertise in project management methodologies.

Bernie Saenz, PMP, CSM has a diverse education history. In 1999, they obtained an AS degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute-Fort Lauderdale. Later, in 2005, Bernie earned a BS degree in Information Technology with Cum Laude honors from American InterContinental University. Continuing their education, they completed an Advanced Executive Program in Internet of Things at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018. Most recently, in 2021, Bernie attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they participated in an Executive Education program focused on Digital Transformation: People, Data and Technology. Alongside their education, Bernie has obtained various certifications, including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2005, Agile Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in 2009, ITIL V3 from the Office of Government Commerce in 2007, and Six Sigma from ASQ in 2011. Bernie is also expected to become a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member from the John Maxwell Team in 2023.
