Susan Thomas

Susan Thomas, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as Technical Manager for the Aerothermal Team at Quest Defense since February 2024. In this role, Susan provides technical leadership and oversight for projects involving aerodynamics, thermal analysis, and advanced military engine technologies. Prior to this position, Susan worked as Aero Technical Lead at Quest Defense, contributing to various jet engine programs and supporting a rapidly growing team. Susan also has experience as a Business Owner at ST Consulting, where strategic partnerships were formed across multiple global locations. Earlier in the career, Susan was a Research Fellow at the University of Utah and a Lead Data Analyst at ManTech, where significant contributions were made to research and operational testing. Susan holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
