Al Bowles

Al Bowles is a seasoned executive in the healthcare industry with extensive experience in strategic leadership and business development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Quest Diagnostics since May 2016, Al Bowles has successfully led National Health Plan teams in developing strategies to foster relationships with National Health Plan customers. Prior to this role, Al Bowles was Vice President of Commercial & Major Accounts at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, overseeing statewide segments and achieving significant growth and compliance. Al Bowles also held leadership positions at OptumHealth Specialty Benefits, where contributions included merger integration and the launch of a start-up, and at CIGNA Group Insurance, focusing on sales and P&L for ancillary products. Al Bowles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from the University of Richmond, earned between 1976 and 1979.
