Charles Ma is a Sr. Scientific Director in Molecular Oncology at Quest Diagnostics, where they lead a team focused on developing and validating next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based clinical assays for cancer. With over 10 years of experience in clinical molecular testing and laboratory management, Charles holds multiple certifications and has a proven track record in biotech research and development. Prior to their current role, they served in various capacities, including Senior Scientist at Cancer Genetics, Inc., where they validated numerous clinical assays. Charles earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.A. in Molecular Biology/Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley.
