Sohrab Saraei

Sohrab Saraei is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in managing and developing bioinformatics R&D projects. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in Bioinformatics R&D Engineering at Quest Diagnostics, Sohrab is responsible for introducing innovative features to various systems, utilizing machine learning and data science to optimize workflows, and ensuring compliance with IVD device regulations. Previous roles include Bioinformatics R&D Manager at Blueprint Genetics, where Sohrab led project execution, managed agile development processes, and oversaw medical device development. Sohrab's background also includes roles as a Machine Learning & Data Specialist at the City of Turku, a Bioinformatics Scientist at the University of Helsinki, and a Project Researcher at Turku Bioscience. Sohrab holds a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Turku and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.
