Vivek Kumar

Vivek Kumar, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, is currently the Director of Science at Quest Diagnostics | med fusion, where they lead the Chemistry and Immunology departments. With extensive experience in Diagnostic Product Development and Clinical Trials, they have mentored Pathology residents and conducted pre-FDA studies for various vendors. Vivek previously served as Scientific Director at med fusion and held roles at Beaumont Health System, Mayo Clinic, and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. They earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and completed a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship at Mayo Graduate School.
