William Meyer

Dr. William Meyer is a Director and Medical Science Liaison specializing in Infectious Disease and Immunology at Quest Diagnostics, where they have had technical responsibility for laboratory services in the East Region since 1982. They administer NIH and CDC-funded laboratory testing services for HIV-related research studies and have co-authored over 185 publications in the field. Dr. Meyer graduated first in their class with a B.S. in Medical Technology from Loyola College in 1977, later earning a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1982. Currently, they serve as Chair of the NIH AIDS Program Virology Quality Assessment Advisory Board.
