Rachel Won

Rachel Won is the Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering and has held various editorial positions within Nature Publishing Group, including International Editor and Chief Editor of Nature Photonics. They began their career as an R&D Optics Engineer at Philips Optical Storage in Singapore, where they contributed to advancements in optical systems for CD/DVD players and received a patent for their work. Rachel was also a Medici Fellow at Aston University Business Partnership Unit, focusing on enhancing commercial development and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship in research. They earned their degree from Aston University between 2002 and 2005.
