Jeff Major

Jeff Major has extensive work experience in the metallurgical and engineering field. Jeff is currently the Director of Metallurgical and Laboratory Services at Quest Integrity since March 2021. Before that, they worked at TEAM, Inc. as the Product and Service Line Director for Material Testing and Welding from June 2020 to March 2021, and as the Product and Service Line Director for NDE and Inspection from September 2018 to June 2020. Prior to TEAM, Inc., they held various positions at Quest Integrity, Maintenance & Turnaround Resources, Quest Integrity Group, Western Refractory Construction Inc., and Lincoln Electric, where they worked as a Senior Process Optimization and Metallurgical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, and Senior Consulting Engineer. Their work experience spans from 2005 to the present.

Jeff Major pursued their education in metallurgical engineering, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota Mines, which they completed between 1994 and 1999. Jeff furthered their studies at the Colorado School of Mines, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from 1999 to 2005.
