Denmark is the Chief Investment Officer of Connectivity Ventures, an early stage and mission oriented fund. He is a thought leader and speaks on technology trends, business models and financial markets on TV news outlets like CNBC, CCTV America and Al Jazeera. He is also referenced in books like “Stealing MySpace”, “The Facebook Effect”, and "Leapfrog: The New Revolution for Women Entrepreneurs". Before Connectivity, Denmark was President of Digital Media at BET where he greenlit a Webby nominated webisode series, launched an ad network and oversaw the development and distribution of the company's first TV companion mobile app. Prior to BET, Denmark was an EVP at Viacom where he drove an acquisition based growth strategy, led post merger integration, and oversaw ecommerce P&L. Before Viacom, Denmark was a rising executive at Microsoft where he drove or supported over $12B in M&A and investments; managed JVs with Softbank, Echostar and Qualcomm; and led or drove strategies around streaming, video games, cloud and open source software. Denmark started his career on Wall Street with Smith Barney and earned his BA and MBA from Harvard. Denmark was an early advisor to CODE2040 and #YesWeCode. He is a current advisor to K1 Investment Management, the NBPA and the USO. He is a former board member of Dress for Success and All Star Code, and a current member of the board for SOCAP Global and DPCM Capital.
