Luis Ruano

Luis Ruano is a QuestBridge and Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Spanish. They currently serve as a Camp Supervisor at Life Time Inc. and an Optometric Technician at C-LUMINOUS EYECARE, INC. Additionally, they hold leadership roles as Vice President and former President of the QuestBridge organization, and as Vice President of the DHW Pre-Health Honor Society. Previously, Luis gained experience as a Spanish Patient Ambassador at UVA Health, an Admissions Intern at the University of Virginia, and a Medical Interpreter at the Charlottesville Free Clinic. They completed their high school education at Potomac Falls High School and the Academies of Loudoun, specializing in Medical Laboratory Technology.
