Zeynep Akdora

Zeynep Akdora currently serves as Smith QSN Co-President at QuestBridge, beginning in June 2024. Previously, Zeynep worked as a Summer Camp Rowing Coach at Dallas United Crew, focusing on developing beginner athletes' skills. Zeynep also held the position of Gen Chem II Lab Teaching Assistant at Smith College, where responsibilities included guiding students in chemistry lab techniques. An Undergraduate Research Assistant role commenced in May 2025 at The Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials at the University of Texas at Austin, contributing to research on peptide-drug conjugates and developing various laboratory skills. Additionally, Zeynep served as a Summer Research Assistant at Southern Methodist University, participating in a thesis project related to depression and cognitive processes. Zeynep holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a 4.0 GPA from Smith College and graduated from Highland Park High School in 2023.
