Scott Boyd, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Scott began their career as an Environmental Engineer with the State of Missouri in 1984. In 1985, they moved to 3M, where they worked as a Process Engineer until 1986. Scott then joined J. Louis Crum Corporation as a Project Manager, where they worked until 1996. Scott's next venture was with Linc Facility Services, where they served as a Franchisee from 2013 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at QuesTec Mechanical, a role they took up in March 2021 after serving as President of the company since January 1996.
Scott Boyd, P. E. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) with Honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. In 2010, they acquired an Associate's degree in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) as a Leed Green Associate. Additionally, from 1986 to 1990, Scott Boyd pursued Plumbing Technology/Plumber studies and obtained a Master Plumbing License, becoming a certified Master Plumber.

Scott Boyd founded QuesTec Mechanical in 1996 and has been serving the mid-west for over 20 years. At QuesTec, we provide mechanical construction services including plumbing and pipe-fitting in the Midwest region. In addition, we operate a commercial HVAC/R Service Maintenance department. You will find us conducting business throughout the mid-west, with strategic locations in Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Georgia, and Arkansas. We regularly complete projects that range from just a few thousand dollars to multimillion-dollar projects. Our projects have included hospitals, high schools, universities and a variety of large commercial and government facilities. During our 20+ years, we have completed more than $300 million in mechanical and plumbing construction.
