Simon Wang

Simon Wang currently serves as a Materials Design Engineer at QuesTek Innovations LLC, where responsibilities include developing algorithms and Python packages for materials property models and optimizing backend package performance for cloud-based SaaS. Previously, Simon held an internship at QuesTek Innovations LLC, achieving 1st place in the AM Bench modeling award and creating functional plotting interfaces for materials design. Simon obtained a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland, a BS in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, and is pursuing an OMSCS in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
