Head Chef

Chris Verbaker has extensive experience in the culinary field, currently serving as a Grill Cook at The Merion since December 2019 and as Head Chef at Quest Food Management Services since July 2018. Additionally, Chris has been the Owner and Executive Chef at Hillbilly Chef Catering since 2013, where focus is on creating food that satisfies diverse palettes. Previous experience includes a role as Kitchen Manager at A'viands Northeastern University from September 2016 to May 2018. Chris holds a degree in Culinary Arts and Chef Training from Le Cordon Bleu Chicago, obtained between 2008 and 2009.
