Jack Coy

Jack Coy has a diverse range of work experience. Jack is currently working as a Product Engineering Lead at Questmate since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at VMware Tanzu Labs from 2015 to 2022, holding various roles such as Staff Software Engineer Consulting, Product Manager, Senior Software Engineer Consulting, and Software Engineering Consultant. At VMware Tanzu Labs, they worked closely with client teams to build software using modern development practices. Before joining VMware Tanzu Labs, they served as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2014 to 2015, where they taught lectures and provided support to students. Jack also worked as a Software Developer at Menlo Innovations from 2012 to 2014, collaborating with team members to design and implement code solutions. Additionally, they gained customer service skills and technical expertise as a Customer Service & Handyman at Fran Coys Salon & Spa from 2009 to 2012, where they managed the active directory domain server and performed general maintenance tasks.

Jack Coy's education history began at Dexter High School, where they attended for an unknown duration of time. After completing high school, they enrolled at Washtenaw Community College in 2009 and studied Computer Science there until 2011. Following this, they transferred to Eastern Michigan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2014. After completing their undergraduate studies, Jack Coy joined the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014 and studied Machine Learning as part of a Master's degree program, which they completed in 2015.
