Rafael Valente

Rafael Valente has over 17 years of work experience in the design and creative industry. Rafael started their career in 2004 as an Imaging Specialist at Deutsch. In 2007, they moved to thelab as a Senior Creative Retoucher/Imaging Specialist, specializing in image comping, color correction, and working with beauty, product, fashion, automotive, jewelry and sports brands. From 2009 to 2017, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Vault49 and as a Design Director at The Branding Assembly. During this time, they also worked as a Sr Art Director at Trailer Park, leading branding art direction for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2017-2018 season. In 2015, they became a Designer at Beachbody, and in 2014, they worked as a Designer at the National Football League (NFL). From 2018-2020, they worked as a Freelance Sr Art Director at Leijas Inc NY. Currently, they are a Design Director at Six+One, and is set to become a Sr Art Director at Questus in 2022.

Rafael Valente completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Advertising from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Publicidade & Propaganda from Universidade de Fortaleza between 1997 and 2000.
