Andreas Sion

Andreas Sion has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Andreas started their career as an intern at 8th Light, where they gained exposure to Ruby and Clojure programming languages and developed a strong appreciation for software craftsmanship.

After that, Andreas worked as a Web Developer at DanaWeb A/S, where they later transitioned into the role of a Scrum Master. As a Scrum Master, they focused on facilitating smooth development processes by organizing meetings, planning work, and removing blockers for a cross-functional team based in Denmark and Ukraine.

Following their time at DanaWeb, Andreas joined Trustpilot as a Software Developer. Andreas was primarily responsible for building and maintaining services and APIs related to scheduling, enqueuing, and sending email invitations at scale. Andreas also contributed to improving the usability of the b2b site, setting up automated invitation scheduling, and managing email templates.

Most recently, Andreas has been working at Queue-it as a Senior Software Developer, and later as a Principal Software Engineer. The details of their responsibilities and achievements in these roles are not provided.

Andreas Sion has a background in computer science and web programming. From 2009 to 2012, they attended TietgenSkolen where they obtained a degree in Datamatiker - Computer Science (AP). In 2006-2007, they studied web programming at Syddansk Erhvervsskole. Andreas has also acquired additional certifications such as the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022 and the Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in December 2014.
