Derek Hassell

Derek Hassell has a long and varied work experience. Derek started their career in 1988 as a Programmer at Coopers and Lybrand. In 1991 they joined TCA Consulting Limited as Head of Staff Management where they managed a team of 3 operations managers and achieved growth from 60 to 200. Derek also created and implemented the recruitment, mentoring, career management and performance management processes. In 2003 they moved to Tescom as HR Director where they managed the human resources function. In 2006 they joined Capita IT Professional Services as Head of Consultancy Operations, managing operational activities for all business practices and functions. In 2016 they became Managing Director of Luxoft UK, directing the operational functions of the UK subsidiary of Luxoft. In 2022 they joined Quick Link Consultancy Limited as Director of Operations.

Derek Hassell received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management Sciences from The University of Manchester between 1984 and 1987. Derek then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Analysis and Design of Management Information Systems from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1990 and 1991.
