Mara Donora

Mara Donora is an accomplished professional with a robust background in engineering and biomedical sciences. Currently serving as Principal Consultant and Lead Consultant at Quick Release since June 2021, Mara previously contributed to the COVID Lighthouse Labs at Imperial College London from December 2020 to June 2021. Experience also includes a role as Head of Engineering at OpenCell from February to November 2020. An academic foundation includes a PhD in Electrochemical Sensing in Smart Contact Lenses from the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering, completed in February 2020, alongside a Master's in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on novel photothermal organic nanoparticles for cancer therapy from Imperial College London. The educational journey began at the University of Oxford, culminating in a 4-year MPhys degree in Physics with specializations in Quantum Computing, Condensed Matter, and Laser Physics.
