Plamen Semov is a seasoned ML and cybersecurity engineer with over a decade of experience in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. As the Founder of Aivisec, they focus on developing SIEM-free ML solutions for User Behavior Analytics (UBA) and eXtended Detection and Response (XDR), aimed at enhancing threat detection while minimizing false positives. Plamen has held various roles, including Senior Cybersecurity Engineer and Senior Member of Technical Staff, where they have honed their expertise in DevSecOps, threat analysis, and security architecture. Currently, they also serve as a Distinguished Security Strategist at Quickbase and continue to share their knowledge as an ML and security consultant. Plamen's academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Cognitive Networks and multiple degrees in Telecommunications Engineering.
