Meng Liang

Meng Liang began their work experience in 2012 as a Software Engineer/Data Analyst at Uppsala University. They then joined the Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Uppsala as the Minister of external relationship department, where they established working relationships with various organizations. From 2013 to 2020, Meng worked at Ericsson as a Software Engineer and then as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Data Engineer. They were involved in data engineering and software engineering projects. In 2020, they joined SEB as a Senior Data Engineer, where they built and maintained ETL pipelines. Currently, Meng Liang is working at Quickbit as a Lead Data Engineer, contributing to data architecture and building a lakehouse solution on AWS.

Meng Liang has a diverse education history in the field of computer science and data engineering. They obtained a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University in 2010 to 2012 and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from Vaasa University of Applied Science in 2006 to 2009.

In terms of certifications, Meng Liang completed a Data Engineering Nanodegree from Udacity in 2020, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. They also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Smart Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI on GCP," "Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP," "Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP," "Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP," and "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," all in 2021.
