Greg Martin

Principal Engineer Solutions Architect at QuickLogic

Greg Martin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Greg started their career at Lucent Technologies (now Alcatel-Lucent) in 1980 as a CMTS and continued in that role until 2013. At Lucent Technologies, they led architecture design teams for wireless technologies and platforms, with a focus on CDMA and LTE. Greg also developed testing strategies and support features for system integration and debug capabilities.

After leaving Lucent Technologies, Greg worked at Tabula from 2013 to 2015 as a Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO. In this role, they focused on system architecture and technical marketing for high-performance networking applications and hardware acceleration solutions. Greg also developed an end-user solution for unifying interactions with programmable devices.

In 2015, Greg joined Sopris Technologies as the Chief Architect - Customer Solutions. Sopris is an engineering solutions and services company that addresses the challenges faced by technology-driven companies. Greg's responsibilities included consulting/transformation, engineering design, delivery operations, and maintenance.

Greg also worked at NEO Technology Solutions (OnCore Manufacturing, LLC.) from 2015 to 2017 as a Technical Design Consultant. In this role, they worked on Bluetooth LE embedded firmware for industrial and medical IoT devices, as well as embedded Linux drivers and custom FPGA drivers for data collection and analysis.

Currently, Greg is employed at QuickLogic Corporation as a Principal Engineer Solutions Architect since 2017.

Greg Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 1976 and 1979. Greg later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1981.
