Mao Wang

Sr. Director Of Product Management at QuickLogic

Mao Wang has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mao started their career as an Adjunct Lecturer at Santa Clara University in 2002. From 1999 to 2006, Mao worked at Quicklogic Corp. as an Applications Engineering Manager. Mao then joined Atheros Communications where they held the positions of Business Development Manager and later Sr. Product Marketing Manager. Mao was responsible for the development of industry-first WiFi modules and the delivery of Atheros WiFi on devices such as Nintendo DSi and Amazon Kindle. In 2010, they co-founded North Star Networks Latin America and also co-founded Hatch & Co., where they served as Marketing Director. Mao's most recent position is with QuickLogic, where they are currently the Sr. Director of Product Management.

Mao Wang obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University in the years 1995-1998. Mao then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University, completing it in the years 1998-2000. Prior to their education at Santa Clara University, Mao Wang spent 1994-1995 studying at Virginia Military Institute, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Mao Wang obtained a Certified Product Manager certification from the Association of International Product Marketing & Management, as well as a membership from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management in March 2017. Mao also completed a course on Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing from The 280 Group in 2017.
