Daniel Tom is an accomplished imaging specialist with extensive experience in advanced microscopy and imaging technology. Currently serving as an Advanced Workflow Specialist Confocal at Leica Microsystems since July 2018, Daniel previously managed the Advanced Light Microscopy Core Facility at Harvard Medical School from March 2006 to July 2018, where responsibilities included scientific and financial leadership for a high-traffic imaging core. Daniel's expertise encompasses the design of innovative imaging solutions, such as a customized SCAPE light path, and the facilitation of ImageJ workshops. Earlier roles at Tulane Medical Center included Coordinator of an Imaging Core and Research Technician, focusing on digital imaging systems and the analysis of knockout mice. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Binghamton University.
