Peter Kong

Peter Kong is a Senior Software Engineer II at Quill.org. Peter has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aptible, where they designed and built a distributed event aggregation and analytics system for PHAST, an adaptive network intrusion detection system, under the direction of Prof. Jonathan M. Smith. Smith. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP, where they built bloomberg.com using Node, Ruby on Rails, and Javascript. Peter has also worked as a Tech Writer and Software Engineer at Aptible and as a Software Engineer at LMN Solutions. Additionally, they have interned at Active Corporation as a Food Critic and UI/UX Intern and at Mission to the World as an Intern.

Peter Kong has a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Computer & Information Science. Peter also has a Certificate of Completion in Data Science from General Assembly. Their BA is from Georgetown University in Computer Science, English, and Chinese. Peter also did Language Study in Chinese at Columbia University in the City of New York.
