Simon Kohnstamm

Simon Kohnstamm has worked in a variety of roles over the past decade. In 2010, they were a Labview Engineer at SIL4 Systems, Inc., where they developed a production line testing unit. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Mecco Marking & Traceability, where they served as Technology Manager, Lead Service Engineer, and Sales Engineer. During this time, they conceived, developed, patented, and launched a new communication device that grossed $1.3M in its first year. Simon also lead a top-down redesign of the company's flagship product. In 2016, they served as a Co-Founder of Cathexis Labs and a Graduate Student at Babson College. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Privo - A Navisite Company, where they held roles as Director - Healthcare & Life Sciences, Technical Account Manager, and Certified AWS Solutions Architect. Simon is currently employed as Director of Sales at Quilt Data and as a Startup Segment Leader at Innovative Solutions, where they are helping to build North America's foremost AWS Startups Consulting Partner.

Simon Kohnstamm obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Allegheny College between 2006 and 2010. In 2016, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. In 2005, they attended Stanford University, but did not receive a degree. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Solutions Architect -- Professional in 2019, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in 2019, AWS Certified Developer - Associate in 2018, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in 2018. Simon also obtained an Introduction to Genomic Technologies certification from Coursera in 2020.
